The opportunity
We currently have a fixed term contract opportunity to join our Specialty Claims Business as a Claims Officer managing Accident and Health Claims. In this role, you will play an integral part in providing superior claims service, determining proper policy coverage to conclude, investigate, and evaluate assigned cases.
Your new role
This role manages Accident & Health claims from end-to-end and will involve interacting with Brokers, Doctors and Allied Health Professionals, investigators and assessors to deliver excellent claims management to our clients and help them return to work and get their life back on track following a serious illness or injury.
As a Claims Officer you will take pride in delivering an exceptional customer experience at every touchpoint. You are self-motivated, with a keen attention to detail, capable of maintaining high standards during times of change, and resilient when facing challenges.
About you
- A minimum of 1 years' experience in a case management role within insurance
- Previous experience within accident and health is highly advantageous but not essential
- A strong focus on customer service with the ability to build rapport over the phone and handle varying customer expectations and demands
- A highly empathetic approach to dealing with customers, possessing the ability to be friendly yet professional
- Self-motivated with excellent organisational skills
