Responsibilities The Facilities Manager will be responsible for the overall physical maintenance requirements of the school. This position will require identification and rectification of short-term needs as well as a knowledge of occupational health and safety issues. Ensure the maintenance requirements of the school are met. Manage the maintenance and good order of all College facilities and assets. Manage the contractor management. Liaise with DET cleaning company. Maintain the School Maintenance System Data Base and monitor works to be completed. Work with campus principals on the EMP matters. Prepare agendas/minutes of all meetings of the Facilities Committee. Oversee yearly budgets. Liaise with and support the Campus Principals on all matters relating to OH&S. Attend all meetings relating to major building projects. Manage 3 maintenance staff and 1 admin assistant. Arrange regular campus visits to discuss outstanding work. Oversee the operations of AIMS. Coordinate all OH&S Meetings including Chair, agendas and minutes. Provide Official purchase order forms for repairs and maintenance. Manage all maintenance jobs through issue tracker. Maintenance of College Buses - ensure annual inspections/maintenance. Liaise with gym and theatre hire companies. Manage and organise all quotations for all major and minor works within the school. Manage all compliance ESM and data log. Manage and maintain the current electrical tagging system. Oversee chemical register documentation. Manage the College Assets including organising the annual stocktake of both campuses. Manage College Insurance Policies. Manage Petrol Card transactions. Capacity to manage a diverse and sustainable school ecosystem. Liaise with the Principal, Campus Principals and Business Manager on a regular basis. Other duties as directed.
