Add expected salary to your profile for insights CoMade are a strategic partner specialising in mechanical, electrical and instrumentation solutions within the infrastructure, energy and resources and mining industries.As a project-delivery partner, our focus is on the construction to operations phases of a project, offering rapid mobilisation of specialist resources to deliver smart solutions for an efficient and effective start-up.CoMade's vision is to become the delivery partner of choice recognised for best-in-industry solutions.Strong culture and core values are what separate CoMade from the competition.We believe in building and setting a reputable culture, recognising and rewarding our people who represent those core values either onsite, with clients, or in the local communities.Due to continued project growth, we are looking for experienced Electrical Permit Officers to work on an Iron Ore project in WA.With several positions available on dayshift, you will work on a 2/1 roster (FIFO from Perth), attract great rate for pay and be part of an exciting new project.Responsibilities include: Coordinating and issuing all permits to ensure they are processed and issued in accordance with the Manage Work Permits procedure and all other associated procedures and Safety Essentials.Auditing all facets of PTW system at regular intervals ensuring compliance.Facilitating and coordinating Project Construction PTW requirements by liaising with Supervisors/Subcontractors and access and enable workflow.Regularly auditing and ensuring information and procedures are adequate for isolations.Being actively involved in the development of third-party interface agreements to safely execute workloads carried out by external subcontractors to the project.Monitoring material availability and coordinate with task scheduling. What will you need?Highly regarded applicants with previous Electrical commissioning experience.Permit to Work experience (5 + years) in Construction and/or heavy industry and high-risk workplaces.WA Electrical Licence.Cert IV Occupational Health and Safety.Trade qualification in a related industry preferred.Experience in participating in high level investigations involving multiple internal and external parties.Knowledge of isolation procedures and compliance codes.White Card.Valid driver's licence.Ability to pass pre-employment medical, drug & alcohol screening.
