We are seeking a skilled Senior EUC Engineer, who will take on a crucial senior role in driving project-based initiatives while mentoring junior engineers. This position entails a hands-on approach to technical challenges, with a focus on assisting in team mentorship, task allocation, and cross-team collaboration where required. You will work closely with the business and project teams to develop effective solutions across a diverse range of technologies. What your day will look like: Technical Leadership & Mentorship: Provide guidance and support to junior engineers in the team when the team lead is away or unavailable. Act as a point of contact for technical escalations, offering expert advice and solutions, while allowing junior engineers to learn and grow their skills. Hands-on Technical Expertise: Design, implement, and sustain enterprise technology platforms and information management systems. Support system installations/upgrades, troubleshoot issues, and perform testing to ensure the reliability and availability of computing environments. Maintain operational documentation and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures. Assist the team leader in managing vendor relationships and licensing for infrastructure hardware and services. Liaise with key staff, projects, and third-party partners to drive effective solution outcomes. What skills & qualifications we would love you to have: An NV1 clearance or higher is advantageous, but this is an opportunity for someone without security clearance to obtain one; thus, Australian Citizenship is needed as a bare minimum. ITIL v2, v3, or preferably v4 certification will be crucial for success in this role. Broad knowledge and experience deploying, administering, and managing enterprise SOE using SCCM. Minimum 5-7 years' experience as a senior technical resource in an enterprise ICT environment, with exposure to the following technologies: Microsoft technologies, such as Windows Server 2016/2019 and Active Directory. Cloud technologies such as Azure and O365. Endpoint Control/Management experience with Intune. Virtualisation skills in Citrix and/or VMWare. Basic Networking skills are advantageous but not mandatory, with basic knowledge of network services such as DNS, DHCP, 802.1x, etc. A tertiary degree in ICT/Engineering or a related field will be advantageous in this role, but not mandatory.
