Job Description:
We're seeking a full-time Mechanical Engineer to join our Melbourne team.
Your Role:
* Prepare concept design, schematic design, design development, tender, and construction documentation
* Develop design calculations, drawings, specifications, and reports
* Review drawings, respond to RFI's, and resolve on-site issues
* Attend project meetings with clients
* Inspect in-progress and completed construction works on site
* Work closely with stakeholders to manage projects effectively and produce high-quality designs
* Maintain accurate electronic reporting and submission of all advice, relevant information, and forms
Requirements:
* Minimum 3+ years' experience in building services mechanical discipline across major market sectors (residential, commercial, retail, hospitality, and education)
* Bachelor of Engineering or equivalent in mechanical or building services
* Inquisitive mindset for innovative problem-solving
* Strong organizational and time management skills
* Well-honed knowledge of Australian standards and building codes
* Exceptional influencing and negotiating skills
