Reporting to the Electrical Supervisor, you'll play a key role within KRSP's operations, helping us thrive by maintaining the dependable operation of vital infrastructure. Your work will involve both routine preventative maintenance and responding to unexpected breakdowns affecting crucial systems. These systems include power generation and distribution, as well as potable water assets like bore fields, ground and elevated water storage, pumping stations, filtration and treatment facilities, disinfection processes, and wastewater infrastructure.This is a fantastic chance to join a committed team and make a real difference in the daily lives of the communities KRSP services.Key responsibilities of the role:Perform electrical repairs and maintenance on power stations, water and wastewater treatment facilities, and related infrastructure.Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment failures.Identify and report necessary preventative maintenance and any non-compliance issues.Accurately complete all required electronic and paper documentation.LocationThis position involves a drive-in / drive-out roster from Broome to remote Kimberley communities. Kimberley residents are strongly encouraged to apply, as are those willing to relocate to the region. Fly-in / fly-out (FIFO) options are available for applicants residing outside the Kimberley. The roster is 18 days on and 12 days off.What you will needWestern Australian Electrical Licence.Proven experience in a field service role within at least one essential service area (power, water, or wastewater).Current and valid C class driver’s licence with a clear driving record.Excellent verbal and written communication skills, adaptable to diverse audiences.Willingness and ability to work in remote locations, including driving on unsealed roads.Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a small team.Medium to Heavy Rigid (MR / HR) driver’s license.First Aid certification, including CPR and LVR.Recruitment agencies are respectfully requested not to submit applications for this role.
