a. About the Opportunity
The School of Electrical and Information Engineering (EIE) welcomes applications from suitably qualified, experienced, and committed professionals to filling Education focused roles on a casual employment basis.
Education focused academics play an important role in the delivery of the EIE teaching program. They work under the supervision of academic staff and, subject to qualifications and experience, may be involved in a number of activities in relation to the delivery of our units including classroom and online lecturing, assessment preparation, marking, updating of the website, and meeting with students.
There are opportunities to teach across range of EIE Units of Study in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Intelligent Information Engineering, Power Engineering, Software Engineering, Telecommunication Engineering, and Internet of Things. EIE teaching contributes to postgraduate and undergraduate coursework programs including, but not limited to, Bachelor of Engineering Honours (Electrical); Bachelor of Engineering Honours (Software Engineering); Master of Engineering and Master of Professional Engineering; and Master of Professional Engineering (Accelerated).

Successful candidates will be placed on an eligibility list for casual appointment. Allocation of specific hours of work will be subject to consultation to align skills, expertise and availability.
