The role
As the DMS Administration and Business Support Officer you will form part of a dynamic team responsible for first level help desk support and second level technical support for the document management systems (DMS) managed by the Information Management Services Branch.
The role also provides systems maintenance, auditing, testing, security access, monitoring and configuration services to support business capacity and continuity of service, including data quality and integrity.

While this selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy, it may also be used to fill other similar vacancies (permanent, fixed-term, full-time or part-time) within the department for the next 12 months, from the date that the recruitment breach period has been finalised.
To be eligible for appointment, applicants must have a valid working visa (for fixed term appointments) or be an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or have a visa to live and work indefinitely in Australia (for permanent appointments) at the time of application.

* Demonstrated experience working in a desktop support and/or service desk environment.
* Demonstrated knowledge of records and document management processes and principles and application of Electronic Document and Records Management Systems (EDRMS).
* Sound interpersonal skills, including the ability to liaise and maintain positive relationships with clients and service providers.
