Recruitment Manager @ Hays | Technical Recruiting Exciting contract opportunity for experienced Infrastructure Cloud and Security Architects Experience with Azure Cloud, Disaster Recovery, Cyber security Melbourne based, Australian PRs and Australian citizenship mandatory Your New Company: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Infrastructure Architect to join our client's team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing technical resources across cloud and infrastructure spaces, particularly within the public sector. This role involves leading the architecture practice across the health sector and ensuring the security and efficiency of our client's ICT systems. Your new Role: Cloud Environment Management: Ongoing management of cloud environments and implementation of cost reduction measures to reduce OPEX expenditures. Service Provider Management: Oversee multiple service providers for the delivery of various ICT projects. Procurement and Vendor Management: Request and review Statements of Work, RFPs, and MSAs for various ICT services. Participate in the procurement process to select suitable vendors based on multiple proposals. Standardization and Development: Standardize architecture principles and standards across multiple health services. Develop roadmaps and reusable architecture artifacts, including integration diagrams, data classification, reference architectures, and infrastructure and security standards. Stakeholder Engagement: Conduct technical and non-technical workshops with stakeholders, including CIOs, Directors, and ICT managers. Architecture Practice Leadership: Lead the architecture practice across ICT environments and develop architecture patterns. Technical Translation: Translate high-level business requirements into detailed technical requirements for DRaaS and BaaS solutions. Security and Risk Management: Work with third-party providers to conduct penetration testing and address security risks. Review and deliver risk assessment documents for existing health applications, including risks associated with cybersecurity incidents, high availability, and disaster recovery. Solution Development: Design and implement ransomware recovery and backup solutions. Provide recommendations to improve security procedures across various ICT systems. Project Leadership: Act as a technical and non-technical lead to deliver DRaaS, BaaS, and VDI solutions. Skills Required: Proven experience in managing technical resources across cloud and infrastructure spaces - Azure cloud preferred. Understanding and working knowledge of Privacy and Data Protection within the Health sector. Experience with technical solutions to improve maturity levels of various security controls based on NIST, MITRE ATT&CK, Essential Eight, ISM. Disaster recovery testing for various applications and infrastructure. Proficiency in Single Sign-On (SSO) and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) for various on-premises and cloud-based applications. Strong background in managing multiple service providers and overseeing ICT projects. Experience in procurement processes and vendor management. Expertise in standardizing architecture principles and developing reusable architecture artifacts. Ability to conduct workshops and engage with multiple stakeholders. Experience in developing architecture patterns and leading architecture practices. Proficiency in translating business requirements into technical solutions for DRaaS and BaaS. Knowledge of data classification, security, and integration systems. Experience in designing and implementing ransomware recovery and backup solutions. Strong risk assessment and security procedure improvement skills.
