Quality Assurance & Control (Construction)Hardings Group is a locally owned civil construction company on the North West Coast of Tasmania offering road/civil construction, asphalt and bituminous surfacing, linemarking, and asphalt production services.Hardings Group is currently seeking expressions of interest for the position of Quality Assurance Advisor. This is a full-time position based out of our Ulverstone depot. The Quality Assurance Advisor will work across all divisions in the company and play a critical role in maintaining high-quality standards across all activities.Key Responsibilities:Developing and implementing quality assurance plans for construction projects.Ensuring that construction materials, processes, and workmanship adhere to industry standards and project specifications.Conducting inspections and audits to verify compliance with quality requirements.Identifying and addressing any quality-related issues promptly.Providing training and support to staff regarding quality control measures.Reporting findings to project management and recommending corrective actions.Promoting health and safety practices on-site.Ensuring compliance with quality standards and environmental regulations.Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of industry quality standards and regulations.Communicating and consulting with internal and external stakeholders.Engaging in and supporting strategic initiatives rolled out in the business.To be considered for this role, you should have:Technical aptitude with the ability to review and interpret quality control principles and application.Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.Effective communication and teamwork abilities.Ability to establish work priorities and meet deadlines.Strong time management and problem-solving skills.Commitment to ongoing learning and development.A degree in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field.Experience in a quality assurance role, preferably within the Construction Industry.What we offer you:At Hardings, we know that choosing a job goes beyond just a competitive pay rate.
