Business/Systems Analysts (Information & Communication Technology) Full time As a System Analyst within Payments & Cards, you will play a pivotal role in IT operation and project activities across a variety of payment infrastructure for Australia's leading mutual bank. You will be a subject matter expert (SME) for Payments & Cards platforms across the organisation including NPP, PayTo, Direct Entry, Cards and Switch. The role is responsible for providing operational support, incident & problem management, change management, integration, and monitoring of critical payment infrastructure. Key Responsibilities: IT operations: Day-to-day administration, troubleshooting, and maintenance of Payments & Cards platforms. Integration: Provide payments & cards SME support for the design and integration of new projects. Manage incidents: Be an escalation point for incidents related to the Payments & Cards platform and support the incident management process. Manage problems: Identifying incident trends, root cause analysis, and determining and implementing permanent corrective actions. Change management: Lead and oversee changes into production, ensuring that development, design, testing, and verification adhere to strict ITIL standards minimizing impacts to members and staff. Understand each official release features for the platform and how it might help the business. Provide support to the business in understanding their goals and proactively recommend new features and improvements to optimize Payments & Cards infrastructure. Direct involvement in the configuration of the platform and supporting official platform releases. About you: You will have demonstrated experience of successful delivery and support of member-centric platforms that are usable, stable, secure, compliant, and aligned to business objectives. Expertise in providing strong technical acumen, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring stakeholder satisfaction. Knowledge and Experience: Demonstrated experience in IT Operations for financial services. Knowledge of payments systems including NPP, PayTo, Direct Entry, and Bpay. Knowledge and experience in change management processes. Experience with incident and problem management using Service Now. Demonstrated ability to drive service improvement using ITIL standards. Strong presentation, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills. Knowledge of emerging technologies and financial services.
