We collaborate with Defence to develop highly modular and scalable products that have become integral to a broad range of critical Defence capabilities.The PositionUnder the direction of the Chief of Staff, the Manager of Corporate Governance Reporting is integral to the company meeting its reporting obligations as a Government Business Enterprise (GBE), ensuring the company’s compliance with Commonwealth governance standards and enhancing transparency through reporting. This role is responsible for managing the development, accuracy, and timely submission of all governance-related documents, including the Annual Report, Corporate Plan, Statement of Corporate Intent and parliamentary reports. The role will also support consistent and high quality Board reporting. Our ideal team member will be adept at navigating complex regulatory environments and will facilitate clear communication between the enterprise and its stakeholders, including government bodies and the public. This role also requires excellent time-management to coordinate inputs from multiple areas and strong grammatical skills.Key responsibilities:Governance Reporting: Lead the preparation and delivery of all corporate governance documents, including corporate plans, annual performance reports and reports to Parliamentary Committees. Ensuring these documents meet the highest standards of accuracy and compliance with statutory requirements, and align to the Company’s strategic communication messaging.Regulatory Compliance: Keep abreast of changes in government policies and regulations affecting corporate governance reporting. Implement practices that comply with new requirements and maintain the enterprise’s standing.Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as a liaison for governance reporting with internal and external stakeholders, including government officials, regulatory agencies, the Parliament and the Board of Directors.Strategic Oversight: Collaborate with senior management to align corporate governance reporting with the strategic goals of the Company. Ensure that all reporting reflects the Company’s objectives and governance standards.Audit and Assurance: Contribute to internal and external audits as required to verify the accuracy of governance reports, record keeping and processes.
