ABOUT YOUR ROLE Provision of business, process and technical expertise for the delivery of BPT Network Operations areaBPT Network Operations Services addresses the following key areas: Network Operations, Network Event Monitoring, managing 3rd parties and VendorsContinuous improvement and assurance of a stable, reliable and cost-efficient BPT NetworkImplementation of customer satisfaction objectives in Service DeliveryContinuous collaboration with all other BPT teams on the BPT Network services integrationWHAT YOU WILL BE DOING Implement the BPT strategy within BPT Network OperationsResponsible for stable, efficient, and effective service delivery operations for BPT NetworkResponsible for reporting of the budget for the unitManagement of activities required to ensure the required level of services in the BPT NetworkComprehensive network operations support functions to maintain, administer and enhance Network solutionsLog management, event monitoring and correlation with incident responseAdhere to change management procedures. Degree in Telecom Engineering, Information Technologies or a comparable degreeAdvanced training in BPT Service Management e.g. ITIL, CCNA or CCNP (Cisco) and other related qualifications desirableMinimum of 5 years of experience in Network Operations in related and comparable positionsFluent in English (German, Spanish, French would be advantageous)Experience in the design and set-up, management and development of adequate and large-scale NetworksStrong experience in IT service operations, specialized in Network TechnologiesExperience in the management of large-scale projects, especially in international environmentsKnowledge and experience in the following areas of expertise:BPT Service ManagementInfrastructure ServicesITIL processes, esp.
