But it also offers being part of something meaningful and finding fun in what you are doing every day.We are looking for a full-time remote working Product Specialist, based in Perth with a background in sales and/or engineering to support the industrial/gas group.In this position, you will be responsible for improving sales via strategic business development, sales management, and pipeline health for the products within the Strategic Supplier Partnership Group (SSPG) for WA/NT.
The SSPG has an expansive range of solutions that support the needs and demands of customers across environmental, mining and energy, food dairy beverage, oil refineries, defence and space, industrial, research and academia, landfill and gas operators.Key Responsibilities:Lead a region to achieve quarterly/Annual AOP and portfolio targets.Plan and organise weekly face-to-face meetings.Be confident and competent in making sales calls where needed due to remote locations.Work with national product manager to run opportunities and sales.Knowledge of market dynamics and share.Maintain customer database and knowledge.Pipeline development utilising marketing and regular face-to-face meetings.Attend conferences and trade shows where relevant.Develop strategic relationships with key customers.Develop and implement territory plan for account penetration.Develop a sound understanding of customer's technical requirements, and provide professional and proficient product solutions to best suit customer needs.Leverage customer relationships across the business.Periodic account reviews.Monthly/Quarterly forecasting.Salesforce CRM compliance.Creation and execution of personal development plan.Minimum Requirements:Tertiary qualification in a scientific field.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Outstanding organisation skills.Ability to work as part of a team.High energy, passion, and positive demeanour.Shown experience in sales and account management, desirable if this has been in gas or industrial markets, especially mining.Ability to build and nurture strong customer relationships.This role requires strong initiative and someone who enjoys working autonomously, but also being collaborative in the team and wider business.
The role requires someone who is not only capable of calling and visiting existing customers but also expanding the business by prospecting new companies and contacts.There would be some travel required both regionally and to NT.
