Maintaining funding streams to deliver services and programs.Roles and ResponsibilitiesUphold the values and the mission of The People PlaceDevelop, review and follow policies and procedures of The People PlaceParticipate in Annual Performance reviewsUndertake continuous personal and professional development to enhance skills and knowledgeDevelop and work with the Strategic outcomes, the business plan, including marketingCommunicate effectively and build effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholdersService DeliveryProvides leadership and manages The People Place to ensure effective and efficient customer and community services are provided in a cohesive and collaborative mannerResponsible for the development implementation and management of governance processesActively participates in managing risk, resolving WHS issues and promoting a safe place to workResponsible for the marketing of services provided by The People PlaceAttends Board of management meetings as required, providing timely information and is actively involved in discussionsProgram DevelopmentPrepares and/or manages the preparation and presentation of proposals, funding, submissions and grant applications and develops and implements fundraising and sponsorship plansManages and/or undertakes the development and implementation of projects or programsDevelops, builds and maintains positive and collaborative communications and working relationships and partnerships with various internal and external stakeholders such as the City of Busselton, government agencies, community groups, not for profit organisations, the media business and the general public.Program ImplementationMonitors the operating environment for opportunities and initiates new service responses, reviews and evaluates existing programsAdministration and ReportingManages and oversees the development and implementation of TPP's strategic and business plans together with related policies, procedures to ensure the organisation operates at its optimumStaff SupervisionManages and oversees all Human Resource management activities including staff training, performance management and development reviews, all leave requirements, rosters, workplace health and safety, grievances and workers compensation mattersProvides high level advice and information to the Board of Management with respect to the organisations budget, monthly and end of year financial reporting requirements together with a range of other reportsUndertakes other duties as requested.Selection CriteriaLeadership experience working within a community development or neighbourhood centre environmentExperience in a budgetary and financial environment, including the ability to prepare funding and sponsorship applicationsWell-developed verbal, written and interpersonal communication skillsAbility to liaise, consult and negotiate with a range of stakeholders in a variety of contextsWell-developed conceptual, analytical and research skills including the ability to provide solutions to complex problemsDemonstrated ability to plan, organise and prioritise workloads to agreed time framesAbility to work independently and without supervisionDemonstrated social media competencyDocumentation RequiredA valid Working with Children CheckA National Police Clearance (less than 6 months old)Works with and understands The People Place Child Safety principlesAbides by The People Place Code of ConductWork Health and SafetyEnsures compliance with relevant Work Health and Safety Policy and procedure.
