sustainability of our products, our practices and our people.Role Overview We currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Assistant Accountant to join our friendly team in Forth.Our preferred candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the finance team by managing various accounting tasks and ensuring accurate financial reporting.This position involves maintaining company assets and the asset register, managing debtors and associated receipting, providing payroll support and backup, and managing equipment control.Reporting to the Commercial Manager, this important and challenging role will operate full-time.Remuneration for the role will coincide with experience.As a key member of our administration team, the Assistant Accountant will have a focus on the following key responsibilities, but not limited to:Ensure daily processing of all company bank account transactions have been updated to the ledger.Assist with debtor management, receipting, chasing payments, invoicing supermarkets on their respective portals.Prepare & assist where required with the monthly management accounts for three companies and the consolidation of the group entity.Maintain the assets company, invoicing, depreciation and assets register monthly.Maintain the company equipment control systems.Managing daily correspondence related to stock, ordering and delivery.Support payroll for two companies & end of month processes and reporting including BAS.Assist with ad hoc tasks to ensure the seamless day-to-day operation of the business, as directed by management.About You To accurate data entry.You will also possess a strong understanding of accounts and payroll functions and have years of experience working with accounting software (we use Dynamics 365 Business Central – Pay Focus).Other skills and experience include: Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance or CommerceProficiency with Microsoft Office and accounting software, preferably 365 Business Central or NAV.Current Driver's LicenseMinimum 5 years' experience in a similar role and industryHigh level of customer focusFamiliarity with financial reporting and reconciliation processesKnowledge of asset management practicesSelection Criteria Demonstrate a sound knowledge of accounting principles and the ability to effectively apply them in financial reporting and compliance.Have experience with accounting systems, demonstrating the ability to navigate and utilise these tools efficiently.Exhibit strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, with a particular emphasis on Microsoft
