(Subject to private practice agreement)Full-time temporary from 6/1/25 up to 30/6/26 (flexible, part-time, full-time position will be considered)About the Role As a Consultant Nephrologist, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality, professional Nephrology services within the Central and Northern Adelaide Renal and Transplantation Service (CNARTS), working as an integral part of a large multidisciplinary team.
The role will be based in CNARTS but has specific responsibilities related to support of commissioned country renal services undertaken by CNARTS, in the regional centres including but not limited to Whyalla and Port Augusta. This includes time in the metropolitan parts of CNARTS service as well as outreach to regional centres.

About You We are seeking a highly skilled Consultant Nephrologist who is dedicated to providing excellent patient care and contributing to the advancement of nephrology services. You will bring a wealth of experience and expertise to the role, working collaboratively within a large multidisciplinary team. Experience in outreach services will be highly valued.
Key Requirements: Vocational Qualifications: Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians in Nephrology (FRACP) or equivalent, and eligibility for registration as a Specialist with the Medical Board of Australia.
Clinical Expertise: Experience in nephrology, including CKD, dialysis, and transplant patient care, with a high level of knowledge in a renal unit within a major teaching hospital. Experience in regional care and telehealth is highly desirable.
Commitment to Professionalism: Strong focus on quality care, professional integrity, and ongoing professional development, including a commitment to research, teaching, clinical governance and quality improvement.
Leadership & Teamwork: Proven ability to lead and work within multidisciplinary teams, with experience in liaising with diverse groups and fostering culturally sensitive care, including for Indigenous communities.
