As a Case Planning Officer, you will manage inmates' cases, assess their risks and needs, and develop plans to reduce re-offending. You'll work with custodial and probation officers to ensure smooth transitions from prison to the community, while promoting rehabilitation and maintaining a safe, respectful environment
As a Case Planning Officer in the Case Planning team at Clarence Correctional Centre, you’ll make a positive impact by:

About Clarence Correctional Centre
Opened in mid-2020, this 1,700-bed state-of-the-art facility is the largest correctional Centre in Australia.
Located on the beautiful NSW North Coast approx. 6 hours' drive from Sydney and 3.5 hours from Brisbane our region offers rainforests, epic headlands, sand dunes, and some of the best Australian beaches with a variety of multi-cultural cafes, restaurants, and friendly community towns.

To be successful in this role you’ll have:
* Relevant tertiary qualification in Criminology, Social Work, Social Sciences or relevant industry experience in a similar role.
* Certificate IV in Correctional Practice (Case Management) (or to be completed within the first 12 months of employment)
* Experience in case management and/or rehabilitation and reintegration practice.
* Exposure to the Criminal Justice System or similar human services
* Demonstrate a competent level of computer literacy and report writing
* Proficient interpersonal and communication skills
