The role:
Assist the Director of Cardiology and other staff in the overall investigation and management of cardiology patients of the Launceston General Hospital through provision of a quality echocardiography service.

Department of Medicine:
1. You will be working in the Department of Cardiology undertaking Echocardiograms on inpatients and outpatients.
2. Various range of scanning ranging from standard Echocardiograms to Congenital
3. Very supportive environment working with 2 Echocardiographers, 3 Advanced Trainees and 6 Cardiology Consultants
Details of Appointment
Permanent part time, day worker position working 45.6 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible
*notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant
4. Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time and part time vacancies.
Salary: $69,117 - $104,493 pro rata per annum + 11% superannuation + access to salary packaging
You’ll have access to salary package a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible.
5. Salary range is in accordance with Allied Health Professionals Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2022

7. Post Graduate Diploma in Ultrasound
8. Eligible for ordinary membership of the Australian Society for Ultrasound in Medicine
