The role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Practice Administrator to join our Corporate M&A team in Sydney on a full-time basis. Working with Partners and, this role will suit a driven PA who can work effectively within a hybrid team, is a natural organiser and has a drive to make the role their own. This role is office based.
Key responsibilities
In this varied and fast-paced role, you will be responsible for:
1. Administrative support to 2x Partners and wider team;
2. Drafting, reviewing and preparing correspondence / documentation;
3. File management;
4. Managing telephones, electronic diaries and voicemail for team members;
5. Organising meetings, restaurant reservations and travel bookings;
6. General accounts, reporting and monthly billing; and
7. Support with business development activities.
Skills & Experience
To be successful in this role, you will have a:
8. Minimum 12 months' experience in a legal secretarial position;
9. Strong technical skills (MS Word, document management system, typing);
10. Pro-active approach to your responsibilities and a drive to improve processes;
11. Flexible and highly professional approach, working around the needs of the practice and the various internal/external stakeholders;
12. Ability to anticipate the needs of Partners; and
13. A professional approach that prioritises forming effective working relationships.
