About the role:
This position is situated within MacKillop Education at the Caulfield Campus. The VET Trainer is a member of our Mackillop Education Caulfield Campus. The VET Trainer will work collaboratively with the Senior Staff and Pathways Leader to develop and deliver the Vocational and Education Training Program.
This is a Permanent Part-Time (7.6 hours per week) opportunity based in Caulfield within our MacKillop Education (Caulfield Campus) program. The position reports to the Principal.
Key Selection Criteria:
To be successful in this role, you will have:
* Current Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration or Permission to Teach.
* A current Certificate IV Training and Assessment or similar relevant qualification.
* A knowledge and understanding of Aboriginal culture and values and an awareness of the current issues faced by Aboriginal children, young people and their families.
* Demonstrated experience in implementing aspirational initiatives to engage students in their learning. Experience as a VET Trainer will be highly regarded.

You must have a:
* Valid and current Driver’s Licence;
