The role
is required to understand the information and analytical needs of key stakeholders in the business, then collaborate with relevant team members leverage data resources to address the defined requirement.
Key Responsibilities include but not limited to:
1. Quality and on time delivery, analysis and challenge of monthly and quarterly management reporting
2. Delivery of innovative solutions to information and reporting needs raised by stakeholders
3. Analysis of performance and operational drivers behind GWP, claims and expenses and assess the impact on the financial results
4. Analysis of how changes in actuarial assumptions impact financial results and how these changes affect budget / forecast expectations
5. Creation of operational and performance targets behind GWP, claims and expenses with communication and agreement with business leads
6. Effective working relationships with key stakeholders in the Personal Injury Insurance Business, CFO and key stakeholders across Suncorp.
Skills & Experience:
7. Minimum 5 years Insurance industry experience mandatory together with relevant tertiary qualifications
8. Knowledge of relevant General Insurance practices and policies
9. Ability to convey and explain information, coherently and confidently both verbally and in writing
10. Committed to delivering a quality, differentiated experience to all customers
11. Ability to make commercial decisions in line with delegated authority.
