The role will curate and execute a roadmap for Security, Cloud Platforms, Infrastructure, Service Management and be pivotal in fostering innovation, powering digital transformation, and cultivating a security-first culture.
To support our technological ambition, the Director of IT Operations and Security will also bring a depth of operational excellence as we look to embed practice and process maturity across Digital IT.Day-to-day accountabilities:?Define and deliver our cybersecurity roadmap, mature our IT service management and support practices, oversee cloud platforms, and drive innovation and operational excellence daily as a pivotal technology leader.
Develop comprehensive technology and security strategy, embracing emerging tech and risk management.
Drive adoption of best-in-class cloud solutions and multi-cloud strategies.
Embed security awareness and compliance excellence.
Prioritise security initiatives based on risk assessment and business impact.
Foster cybersecurity awareness and education within the organisation.
Lead IT service management, service delivery and support initiatives using frameworks like ITIL.
Collaborate with IT leadership to align cybersecurity strategies with overall goals.
Enable and empower our people to leverage the value of our technology.

This is a full-time permanent position with flexible working arrangements, allowing you to work remotely and from a campus near you Wakefield Adelaide, Flinders Street Melbourne, Surry Hills/Ultimo Sydney, Bowen Terrace Brisbane.Who you are?You are a seasoned technology leader with deep expertise in cybersecurity, cloud infrastructure, and data engineering.
Your strong leadership, communication skills, and strategic vision drive organisational excellence.
Expertise in cybersecurity practices, compliance frameworks, and risk management.
Familiarity with IT infrastructure, cloud services (GCP, AWS, Azure, Office365) Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or similar.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
Ability to foster a security-aware culture and manage stakeholder engagement effectively.
Proficiency in project management and development of security strategies and awareness programs.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience.
