My client, based in SOR, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Accountant to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual passionate about statutory reporting, governance, and taxation to make a significant impact on their financial operations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Compile and deliver statutory reporting and other external reporting requirements.
2. Ensure compliance with all statutory obligations, contributing to effective corporate governance.
3. Develop and maintain policy guidelines to establish appropriate controls that balance risk and reward.
4. Improve procedures and controls using defined accounting policies, general ledger, reconciliations, intercompany accounts, and tax effect accounting.
5. Advise on and assist with the implementation of new finance systems to enhance financial reporting efficiency.
6. Collate financial information and prepare required financial reports.
7. Manage activities related to audit and cash flow.
8. Collaborate with outsourced accounts payable, receivable, and payroll stakeholders.
9. Assist in mapping and documenting financial structures.
10. Work closely with the Management Accountant and CFO during the end-of-month and end-of-year accounting close process.

Key Criteria:
1. Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
2. CA or CPA qualified.
3. Proven experience in a financial and commercial role within a complex, multi-entity environment.
4. Strong analytical and technical accounting skills with a flexible approach to problem-solving.
5. High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience in managing spreadsheets and reconciliations.
6. Understanding of internal and external audit requirements.
