Responsibilities: Undertake assessment of participants in shared living and community-based environments Provide direct therapy services, adaptive equipment, recommendations and environment modifications Complete various assessments and reports, including Functional Capacity Assessments (FCA’s), Sensory Profiling equipment applications and NDIS progress and review reports. Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including participants, families, support workers and the wider allied health team. Commitment to the NDIS practice standards under the NDIS Quality and Safeguarding Framework About you: NDIS Workers Screening Check Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy Current full registration with the Australian Health Practitioners’ Regulation Agency (AHPRA) Experience in the assessment and prescription of aids and equipment Flexible, responsive approach in working with individuals and their families Ability to work autonomously and as member of a multidisciplinary team High level interpersonal and communication skills as well as a positive ‘can do’ attitude Demonstrate a commitment to Identitywa’s values The ability to work effectively within a team and manage a caseload Willing to obtain a NDIS Worker Orientation certificate What we can offer: Attractive salary packaging options Friendly and supportive teams Flexible working options Staff Recognition Program
