Purchasing/Receivables Officer Role Overview
We are seeking a Purchasing/Receivables Officer to join our client, a leading workwear and safety retailer. The successful candidate will play a key role in the daily management of stock, processing orders, and ensuring supplier relationships are well-maintained.
Responsibilities:
* Receiving, unloading, counting, and stocking physical inventory
* Picking, packing, and shipping customer orders
* Managing inventory and maintaining accurate stock levels
* Processing supplier returns and managing purchase orders
* Maintaining supplier relationships and ensuring timely deliveries
* Conducting rolling stocktakes and managing back-orders
* Assisting with ongoing process improvements in the warehouse
* Ensuring accurate data entry into the ERP system
