Responsibilities
* Meet customers' parts requirements through counter service and outside sales.
* Achieve monthly parts sales objectives and align with company business goals.
* Maintain high customer satisfaction levels.
* Conduct meetings with potential customers face-to-face or via phone.
* Deliver parts to customers according to purchases and company policies.
* Create detailed invoices and customer statements.
* Record lost sales to optimize the MDI program and reduce obsolescence.
* Follow supervisor directions.
* Collaborate with inside parts sales team and support staff to develop customer and product strategies.
* Assist with inventory cycle counts.
* Maintain store cleanliness.
* Support market maintenance efforts.
* Assist with shipping and receiving tasks, including unloading trucks, checking merchandise, and matching purchase orders.
* Follow up on shortages and expedite through reporting to the Parts Manager.
* Operate a forklift safely.
* Physically capable of lifting up to 50lbs independently.
* Understand and comply with company policies and procedures.
* Participate in merchandising and promotional activities.
* Stay updated on industry developments through meetings, training, and workshops.
Qualifications:
* Valid Driver's license and clean driver's abstract.
* Outside sales experience with strong consultative sales skills is an asset.
* Exceptional customer service skills.
* Familiarity with heavy-duty/medium duty truck parts is preferred.
* Strong written and oral communication skills.
* Attention to detail and good listening skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
