Muswellbrook Hospital is part of the Hunter Valley Sector within the Hunter New England Local Health District (HNELHD). We offer a range of public health services, including a satellite dialysis unit with 6 chairs. Our hospital is committed to fostering growth and development for all staff, providing opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge while making a positive impact on the community.The dialysis unit operates Monday to Saturday with day shift rosters, and our hospital provides 24 / 7 access to medical officers. We offer the opportunity to expand your experience in a variety of areas depending on your background.About the role :As an Enrolled Nurse in the Dialysis Unit, you will work alongside a Registered Nurse and be supported by the Clinical Nurse Manager, Clinical Nurse Educators, and the Renal team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with recent haemodialysis nursing experience to further develop their skills in a collaborative and supportive environment.A typical day will involve :Providing direct care to patients undergoing haemodialysisWorking within a team to ensure the safe delivery of careCollaborating with a multidisciplinary team, including Registered Nurses, Renal Nurse Practitioners, and Renal Satellite ManagerEnsuring that patient care is individualized and patient-centeredParticipating in ongoing education and professional development to ensure best practice in the delivery of careAbout you :The ideal candidate will have current registration with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as an Enrolled Nurse, with medication endorsement on their registration.
