What are we looking for?
SentinelOne is seeking an Enterprise Sales Representative, Data, who displays a deep passion for and proven track record of strategic business planning and development. This person will have the responsibility for driving the next stage of growth for Singularity Data Lake, and tasked with building out a direct sales channel as well as various partner led solution channels including managed security services. They will work closely with the marketing and product teams to design and implement successful lead Generation and Go-to-Market campaigns, and drive overall sales excellence in a competitive market.
Ideal candidates will have prior experience selling data products (such as log analytics, data warehouses, ETL and BI products).
What will you do?
The principal responsibilities for this position are to generate revenue from Strategic Accounts across the region through following up on multiple lead sources, developing new clients and selling directly to customers while leveraging our channel community. In this position, you will:
1. Run a sophisticated sales process from prospecting to closure
2. Partner with our channel team to drive both net-new and recurring revenue
3. Partner with channel managers to build pipeline and grow the assigned territory
4. Become an insider within the Cyber Security Industry and become an expert of SentinelOne products
5. Stay well educated and informed about SentinelOne's competitive landscape and how to sell the value of our solutions and services when compared to the relevant competitors in the Next Generation Endpoint market space
6. Consistently meet, or exceed sales quotas
What skills and knowledge should you bring?
7. University degree or equivalent experience
8. At least 5+ years of above-quota sales experience, preferably as a Regional Sales Executive/Manager selling data and analytics products across ANZ
9. Deep knowledge of current data solutions (Splunk, Elasticsearch, Snowflake, etc)
10. Strong communication (written and verbal) and presentation skills, both internally and externally.
11. Ability to engage with a variety of technical and business leaders.
12. Enterprise sales experience with an actionable Rolodex of decision makers in the Devops, Observability, SRE, and Security organizations.
13. Superb organizational and reporting skills
14. Experience with growing the sales enablement function to support sales in a rapidly evolving and competitive marketplace
15. "Whatever it takes" attitude and motivation to deliver above-quota performance
16. Prior startup experience
17. Experience working with channel partners and a strong understanding of a channel-centric GTM approaches
