THE COMPANY Our client are a boutique building consultancy firm specialising in Building Permits and Inspections across all building classifications within Victoria.The company was established by two founding Directors with combined 30 years of experience working in senior roles at some of Australia's most reputable building surveying firms. Our client does 50% boutique residential work and 50% commercial work. DUTIES Assist Senior Building Surveyor issuing Building Permits, Variations and Occupancy Permits. General customer service and client liaison. Responding to Phone and Email Queries. Inspection management. Liaise with sub-contract inspectors and Builders. Review building permit application documentation. Review Occupancy Permit Certificates and Documentation. Management of Building Directions, Notices, Orders. ABOUT YOU Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, Exceptional organisation skills, Detail orientated, A willingness to learn, Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word & Outlook), Ability to work under instruction. Capacity to work unsupervised.
