The Categories managed by the Category Manager will generally contain uncomplicated contracts representing medium to low risk to SA Power Networks and Enerven.Key Responsibilities IncludeDevelop the Category and Sub-Category Plans that articulate the yearly level of savings to be achieved, the sourcing strategies, as well as business and supplier responsibilities and commitments.Meet annual savings targets (as measured via the savings scorecard).Manage supplier relationships related to the assigned Category.Develop and manage contracts that effectively balance the desired commercial outcomes with appropriately managed risk in a timely and value for money manner.Compliance with SA Power Networks Procurement Directives based on audit results.About youTo be successful in this role you will have advanced strategic sourcing skills as well as highly developed category management, supplier relationship management and negotiation skills. Project Management expertise is a must as well as the ability to lead and influence a large and diverse set of internal and external stakeholders. You will have advanced skills in data and financial analysis and have a strategic and innovative mind-set.Other criteria include:Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Engineering, or an equivalent level of skills or knowledge gained through experience.Member Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (MCIPS) or working towards.What’s on offer12.5% superannuation (1% above current legislated employer contributions).Up to $900 in electricity reimbursements each year.17.5% leave loading payable on annual leave.Automatic coverage from SA Power Networks income protection scheme.Primary Parental Leave (18 weeks) and Secondary Parental leave (5 weeks).An industry-leading focus and reputation for safety and wellbeing.Many of our salaries/Our wages are positioned well above industry standards; with this role offering a starting annual base wage of $141,459.03.
