We have a large team of P&C Staff dedicated to our various contracts across Australia and NZ. We are currently on the lookout for an experienced Business Partner to work with one of Ventia's longstanding and renowned contracts.
Ideally the right applicant will be based in our Cremorne office, Melbourne, however we are comfortable to discuss this opportunity for candidates in SA and NSW willing to travel interstate.
This role is responsible for the provision of human resource/employee relations advice, case management to the business and participation in the performance and development review process.

We will look to you to:
4. Provide advice and coach best practices to ensure a high level of employee engagement with leadership.
5. Provide case management advice and support to business leaders.
6. Interpret contracts, agreements, industrial legislation, and instruments to ensure compliance and risk mitigation.
7. Facilitate the resolution of issues and coaching of line management when it comes to complex or sensitive employee matters, application of people policies to enable skills and knowledge transfer.
8. Support leaders to optimise their operations and improve productivity by developing and delivering business focussed HR plans and strategies.
9. Work with the leadership team to strengthen succession planning, identifying various levels of talent within our work groups and linking this to future opportunities for career advancement.
10. Lead and deliver communications to the workforce and people leaders on matters such as company initiatives, training and development, employee engagement and well-being.
About you:
11. Previous experience in a similar role – as a Senior P&C Business Partner
12. Extensive knowledge and experience providing Bid support to organisations.
13. Knowledge of relevant enterprise agreement legislation and understanding of Union agreements
14. Strong communication skills – both verbal and written
15. Excellent collaborative skills
