We specialize in the engineering, design, manufacturing, installation, commissioning, service and maintenance of hydraulic and pneumatic systems. We are a privately-owned, well-established company that operates from state-of-the-art facilities in Beckenham.
Due to the company's strong and continual growth, we are seeking a motivated and dependable Hydraulic Technicians to work in the Service team to continue the ongoing high level of service and quality delivered to our customers.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Service and maintenance of hydraulic and mechanical equipment
Installation and commissioning of hydraulic equipment and systems
Performing and directing field tests (Pressure testing and flushing of equipment)
Selecting tools and equipment required for tasks
Manufacture of new build mineral oil and water glycol hydraulic systems
Assembling and installing new and modified mechanical assemblies, components, machine tools, controls, and hydraulic power systems
Assisting Mechanical Engineers and Engineering Technologists in the design of mechanical equipment and plant
Ensure that designs and finished work are within specifications, regulations and contract provisions
Ensure work is carried out to the highest quality standards and in line with QA systems
Ensure work is completed in a safe manner and in line with HSE policies and procedures
Requirements and Qualifications:
Australian recognized Trade Certificate (desirable)
Minimum 2 years’ experience with previous history of working for a recognized hydraulics/oil and gas services company (desirable)
Sound knowledge of hydraulic principles, valving, accumulators, pumps, actuators, hose and fittings
Ability to read and interpret hydraulic schematics & P&ID drawings
Experience with troubleshooting of hydraulic systems
Instrument tubing experience (desirable)
Ability to work to deadlines and time frames
Salary: $75,000 to $85,000 a year (commensurate to skills and experience)
