About the Role As a CNC Programmer at Form Imagination, you will play a critical role in programming, setting up, and operating CNC machines to produce precision components.
This is a full-time, 38 hours per week position, based in Ballarat, VIC.
What You'll Be Doing Programming CNC machines using G-code and CAD/CAM software.Reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD models.Setting up and operating CNC machines to produce components within precise tolerances.Collaborating with machinists and engineers to optimise production processes.Troubleshooting and resolving issues related to CNC programming and machine performance.Ensuring quality and safety standards are met throughout the production process.Continuously improving CNC programs to enhance efficiency and reduce cycle times.Maintaining customer and supplier relationships.What We're Looking For Experience: Minimum 3 years as a CNC Programmer, preferably in a manufacturing environment.Proficiency in CNC programming languages (G-code) and CAD/CAM software.Proficiency in programs such as Inventor, Sypcut, EnRoute, TubesT & AutoCAD 2D.Strong knowledge of Microsoft suite (e.g., Excel, Planner).Strong understanding of machining processes, tools, and materials.Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation.Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities in a fast-paced environment.Familiarity with quality control standards and inspection processes.Relevant trade qualification or technical certification in CNC programming or engineering is preferred.Great time management skills, with the ability to work with tight deadlines and maintain a schedule for each machine. #J-18808-Ljbffr
