If Pirtek people want to trial a new idea, they're given the opportunity.Reporting to the CSR Sales Manager, the CSR will be an independent, motivated, and enthusiastic sales representative who will continue to develop and manage the existing customer base whilst building new business prospects at the Pirtek Canning Vale franchise location. Key functions and responsibilities include but are not limited to sales growth and business development. Tasks will include the development and support of the execution of channel plans through Pirtek Canning Vale's sales and marketing teams by engaging directly with customers to achieve marketing, sales, and profit goals. Key Responsibilities Key Tasks, Actions, and ProcessesDeveloping trust relationships with a portfolio of the Pirtek Canning Vale customers, acquiring a thorough understanding of their needs and requirements, and expanding the business relationships with existing and target customers by proposing value-adding solutions that meet their requirements and business objectives.Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.Accountable for the sales development of the market segment in their Franchise location.Analyse the market segment within the assigned territory and identify potential and existing customer accounts with opportunities for Pirtek Fluid Systems products and services.Implement direct sales strategies including conceptual changes to traditional business methodology that will obtain business from new and existing accounts via a planned and proactive business approach.Work with franchises to build successful and acceptable levels of sales, profitability, promotional and technical expertise.Complete all weekly and monthly reports before or by the due date set.Achieve sales targets as set by the CSR Sales Manager for the assigned market sector and the territory/region allocated.Ensure that all records are maintained in a secure and readily retrievable manner, for the required duration. This includes up-to-date CRM and sales opportunity pipelines.Competent in CRM software applications, Microsoft Word, Excel & PowerPoint.Effectively manage the sales opportunity pipeline for the Pirtek Canning Vale Franchise location, increasing sales within the existing customer base and growth of new customers.Develop, plan, and execute new customer acquisition strategies.Ability to travel 4 days on the road (customer engagement) and 1 day in office (Administration tasks) to ensure the completion of customer call cycles with planned visitation and cold calling components.Operate within provided account discount structures and relevant trading terms and the implementation of contract guidelines.Collaborate with Sales and Marketing Departments including the professional roll-out of product range promotions, ensuring that campaigns are well executed.Manage customer expectations and execute the sale of products and services as the industry's most preferred or best solutions, realising market leadership.Ability to achieve sales KPIs with the primary focus to be revenue growth and gross margin.OtherAttending regular and ad hoc meetings as required.Attending and participating in all company training.Displaying and ongoing commitment to the 8 Pirtek Promises in all interactions with colleagues, customers, and other internal and external stakeholders (Environment & Safety, Respect, Honest & Integrity, Accessibility & Response, Customer Service, Products, Knowledge, and Image & Representation).Provide routine reporting as scheduled and ad hoc as required.Any other tasks as directed by Management.Vehicle Use:Ensure company car is clean and tidy.Communicate any grievances in a timely manner, e.g., road accidents.Ensure company vehicle Policy is adhered to.Regularly scheduled maintenance including servicing, inspections, and adherence to manufacturer guidelines.Monitor fuel consumption and ensure optimal efficiency, reducing operational costs without compromising speed of service.Ensuring all safety features are functional, following traffic regulations, and conducting regular safety checks to mitigate potential risks.Monitoring the vehicle's usage to ensure it is utilized effectively, avoiding unnecessary downtime or inefficient routing.Quality AssuranceEnsuring all work is performed in accordance with the requirements of ISO 9001:2015.Ensuring compliance with quality policies, procedures, practices and management directions.Participating in training, as directed by your supervisor and/or manager to ensure competence in completing job responsibilities.Notifying your supervisor or manager if you are required to perform a task which you do not believe you are competent in performing.Work Health & Safety (WHS)Ensuring all work is performed in accordance with the requirements of WHS AS/NZS 45001:2018.Contributing to discussions or requests for feedback/consultation in relation to WHS policies and practices.Taking reasonable care for the health and safety of yourself and your colleagues at and in relation to your workplace.Ensuring compliance with WHS policies, procedures, practices, general responsibilities and management directions.Ensuring you do not intentionally or recklessly interfere with or misuse anything which has been provided in the interest of health and safety.Reporting any injury, incident, hazard or near-miss to your supervisor and/or manager immediately.Ensuring correct PPE is worn at all times.Notifying your supervisor and/or manager if you require training to safely perform a task or operate machinery/equipment required by your role responsibilities.Participating in the investigation of workplace safety incidents where you may be involved, have witnessed the incident or otherwise have relevant knowledge.
