About HIA Insurance Services
HIA Insurance Services (HIAIS) is a specialist insurance broker, providing insurance products and risk advice to the residential building industry. Formed in 1984, HIAIS is a joint venture between two leaders in their respective industries, Aon and the Housing Industry Association (HIA).
Key Responsibilities:
* Delivering strategic direction and profitable growth of your business unit and client servicing teams.
* Developing and maintaining the appropriate infrastructure, resources, and expertise to meet sales, service, and administration requirements.
* Developing best-in-class client relationships, enhancing client experiences, and improving interdependency sales opportunities.
* Manage relationships with wider teams promoting collaboration and driving mutually beneficial growth outcomes.
* Lead the acquisition and engagement of HIAIS's major clients and prospects.
* Providing leadership and motivation to staff, driving a positive and high achieving culture and enhancing business performance.
* Assisting in the development and implementation of client and underwriter service methodologies including strategies for client retention.
* Monitoring Quality Assurance and ensuring compliance with agreed business and industry standards.
Requirements:
* Well-developed leadership skills and ability to make sound business decisions.
* Demonstrated experience within the Insurance or broking industry (ideally within Building and Construction).
* Experience in leading and working within a National Leadership team.
* Strategic and execution-focused mindset.
* Problem solving and solutions driven.
* Strong communications and presentation skills.
* Highly developed skills to influence and engage with senior stakeholders at an Executive level.
* Holding a CPA is desirable.
