This position will be a point of contact for BAU, alongside leading streams of project work and contributing to general IT strategy; ensuring the functionality of corporate IT is maintained and optimised as required. This role offers an opportunity to play a pivotal part in further developing the IT Business Function and build best practices across multiple locations and legal entities, developing the Corporate IT requirements of the business. Overall, this position will be accountable for delivering and maintaining a high-performance Corporate IT system.Key responsibilities will include:Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive IT strategy aligned with business objectives.Write and implement new policies and procedures.Develop and enforce IT policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.Support the integration, implementation, and maintenance of technology stacks for operations, human resources, asset management, engineering, accounting, marketing, and legal.Develop, deploy, and manage a cloud platform for data storage and analysis to scale across multiple sites and locations.Oversee external vendors responsible for asset management, employee onboarding/offboarding, help desk support, and other functions.Manage IT budget effectively, allocating resources strategically to meet business needs.Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies and industry trends, recommending and implementing new solutions to gain a competitive advantage.Oversee the management and maintenance of all IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, networks, and data security systems.What you'll bring:Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, or related field.5+ years of experience in IT.Project Management Skills.Ability to lead a team of technical people.Please be aware you must be an Australian citizen, hold permanent residency status, or have existing AU working rights to apply for this role.
