PhD Scholarship: Towards Direct Deposition of Printed Solar Cells
This scholarship opportunity is part of the CSIRO's Industry PhD (iPhD) Program, a collaboration between an industry partner, Monash University, and CSIRO to develop a four-year industry-focussed PhD project.
The Opportunity
The current project aims to develop semi-transparent electrodes for integration of solar cells into building-integrated photovoltaics (BIPV) products, such as glazing, roofing, and cladding. The expected outcome is the development of new materials and processes for low-cost semi-transparent electrodes. This could generate sovereign manufacturing opportunities in the energy technology sector.
