Reporting to the General Manager- Finance, this role will function at both a strategic and operational level, supporting the business in deploying and delivering business strategies, whilst ensuring financial control, process improvement and change management are deeply embedded in everything we do.This is a hands-on role that requires the individual to work through accounting processes, reconciliations and journal postings, ensuring these are accurate and timely, whilst enabling the business to scale up and continue to achieve long term sustainable growth. A focus in business improvement and assisting key projects will also be integral in being successful in this role. This onsite role will be based out of South Bank, QLD.Primary Accountabilities & Objectives:Prepare and analyse weekly cashflow forecastsAssist the business in budgeting and forecastingDevelop and Maintain Standard Operating ProceduresAbility to understand, review and improve monthly processesSupport the annual audit, including creation of workpapersPrepare and analyse monthly balance sheet reconciliationsActively create and improve existing reporting, systems and processesMonth-end accounting including reconciliations, journal posting and invoicingContinuous process improvement to ensure the team remains in line with best practicesVariance analysis and provide commentary around actual results compared to budget and forecastsPrepare and analyse monthly management reports, tracking financial and non-financial performance against agreed KPI's, budgets and forecasts as well as trendsWork with Management Accounting and Transactional Finance Teams to ensure all group reporting deadlines are understood and metExperience:Ability to work independently and part of a teamCPA/CA qualified - Tertiary level education in accounting or similarMinimum 3-5 years' experience in a commercial environmentAbility to work in a dynamic & complex business environmentHigh degree of flexibility and ability to deal with change, growth and pressureBusiness Central experience (beneficial but not essential); - High level of expertise in Microsoft ExcelSalary on offer: $100-110k Plus Super (based on experience)Applications close: 09 May 2025 E.
