The Five Bridges Community Programs Manager (CPM) role represents Five Bridges externally and manages/auspices services internally. The CPM has responsibility and accountability for successfully delivering the Community Programs within Five Bridges. In addition to the delivering the project activities, deliverables and outcomes in accordance with the Service Agreements, the CPM will serve as a hub and provider supervision and management to Five Bridges team members working within the following programs:
1. Maroochydore Murri Court & Maroochydore Community Justice Group
2. Brisbane Murri Court & Brisbane Murri Elders Community Justice Group
3. Ipswich Murri Court & Ipswich Community Justice Group
4. Murri Sisters Mobile Support Service
5. Five Bridges Indigenous Alcohol Support Program
6. Residential Project
The CPM will coordinate with team members the CJG's across the above programs to ensure that these services are aligning to the KPI's and Deliverables descripted in their Service Agreements and Funding Schedules.
The CPM will supervise team members and provide assistance across the Brisbane, Ipswich, Beenleigh and Sunshine Coast areas. Regular travel will be required to complete site visits, meet with team members and other important stakeholders.
Knowledge & Experience:
7. Identify as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander
8. Open C Class Drivers License
9. Working with Children Blue Card
10. Sound interpersonal and communication skills both written and verbal in public settings include demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people
11. Qualifications and relevant experience in community services
12. Sound knowledge or the ability to rapidly acquire sound knowledge of the operations of the Murri Court
13. Sound knowledge of community DV issues or the ability ro rapidly acquire
14. Sound Knowledge of Alcohol and Substance use issues or the ability to rapidly acquire
15. Demonstrated ability to effectively perform duties in an organisation, achieving goals and meeting deadlines
16. Sound knowledge of computer technology systems and programs to assist with managing tasks and developing reports
Responsibilities & Accountabilities of the position:
The CPM will be responsible for:
Community Engagement
17. Creatively and proactively work with the Community Justice Groups (CJG)
18. Attend quarterly meetings with CJG and proved quarterly financial report and acquittals
19. Liaise with Funding Bodies (DJAG & DOCs)
20. Communicate issues, opportunities, and insights to the JPC company at large
21. Participate in professional networking with other services
22. Identify and engage advocates
23. Project Management
24. Deliver and support programs within the funding requirements and within designated timeframes
25. Develop and maintain service funding body expectations
26. Manage stakeholder's expectations
27. Manage risks
28. Implement and manage changes and interventions
29. Constantly monitor and report on progress of the services to Five Bridges Board each quarter
30. Provide quarterly report to Five Board
31. Identification and procurement of resources
32. Provide quality assurance
33. Ensure all governance, quality and compliance requirements are met and upheld across all project sites including HSQF and other auditing specifications
Staffing
34. Manage and provide support for all Volunteers
35. Manage staff performance
36. Responsible for the coordination, implementation, execution, control of service delivery by staff
37. Monitor staff and their personal and annual leave.
38. Provide annual performance appraisals on staff
39. Provide direction and support to staff
40. Track and meet all serviced milestones working with staff
41. Manage and facilitate project/staff meetings
42. Assist with recruitment, interview and onboarding of new Community Program team members
Financial
43. Sign off on Volunteer pays each fortnight
44. Sign off on Mastercard / Petty Cash top ups
45. Ensure quarterly reports are finalised and submitted by due date
46. Ensure Accounts is advised of Quarterly Financial Acquittal reports due to DJAG by due date
47. Ensure Accounts is advised of Annual Audit report for programs and the end of each year
48. Work with Office Manager to maintain assets and further administrative needs
49. Work with Financial Controller to ensure budgets are maintained
50. Manage each services budget
51. Ensure all contractual requirements are met
