What you'll be doing The Dispensary Manager, Wollongong Hospital, is responsible for the leadership, management, and coordination of the entire dispensary service to deliver a safe, efficacious and patient centred service.This position will also include advanced clinical, education, research and quality improvement roles. The position holder will also integrate into the TWH Pharmacy team and will provide a range of pharmacy services on weekends, after hours and public holidays as rostered, including on call. Extensive experience in the provision of advanced clinical pharmacy and dispensary services (Including inpatients, outpatients, formulary, S100, SAS, PBS) within the hospital setting. Extensive knowledge of the legislative requirements, standards and relevant policies and procedures for the provision of medicines within a Public Hospital. Demonstrated excellent interpersonal, oral communication and conflict resolution skills with a wide range of staff, patients and visitors to the hospital. Demonstrated management and leadership skills and an ability to work independently within a multidisciplinary team. Excellent written communication skills and a high level of attention to detail, including demonstrated ability to develop high quality written guidelines, procedures, educational, research or business materials. Demonstrated skills and experience in managing a complex workload, problem solving and using initiative. Demonstrated commitment to professional development.
