About Us In the heart of northern Victoria is our Stanhope site, a state-of-the-art cheese plant. Here we make a range of award-winning cheese for both the domestic and export markets. About the opportunity Our Fonterra Stanhope site is seeking a highly skilled Learning & Development (L&D) Document Developer to join the Education & Training Department on a 12 month Fixed Term contract. This pivotal role will focus on developing and standardizing training documentation to ensure employees are effectively and efficiently trained in critical production processes. By creating high-quality Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), competency assessments, and step-up cards, you will support compliance with Food Safety, Quality (FSQ), and Health & Safety (HSW) standards, contributing to the ongoing success of our site. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with key stakeholders to review and update Operations Manuals by aligning with standardized SOPs process, closing any procedural gaps Work closely with the Document Controller to ensure all documents meet required standards and flow through the approval process in a timely manor Develop Competency Assessments aligned with business standards and embed these processes into all departments Create Step-Up Cards for all critical roles to ensure consistency and clarity in job functions. Monitor and report on project progress and ensure alignment with audit, compliance, and sustainability standards Ensure all documentation and processes adhere to FSQ, HSW, and regulatory requirements About you We are looking for individuals who have experience in creating technical process documentation or come from a strong background in production operations with exceptional administrative skills. You’ll excel in this role if you are detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to collaborate effectively with diverse teams while working autonomously to meet required deadlines. You can also demonstrate: A Certificate IV qualification or equivalent experience in technical writing, production operations, or a related field Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel) and SharePoint Strong organizational and time management skills with a commitment to quality and accuracy Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective engagement with stakeholders Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and compliance requirements A proactive and solutions-focused mindset, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively Are you excited about this opportunity but may only meet some requirements?
