Short Summary:
The Senior Manager – Oracle and Data Analytics will lead the development, implementation, and management of Data Analytics team, with a strong focus on Oracle Analytics Server technology framework. This role will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver data-driven insights and solutions, ensuring the optimization of data systems and supporting business objectives.

Your new role:
As the Senior Manager, Oracle and Data Analytics you will drive the leadership and management of business system reporting across SA Health and proactively support the implementation of Oracle BI across a diverse and complex portfolio. You will undertake a variety of activities including but not limited to:
11. Leading the Oracle BI reporting team in undertaking solution design, development, complex data analysis and support for BI reporting across SA Health.
12. Identifying and developing strategies that support the rationalisation, development, and implementation of consistent business systems across SA Health.
13. Collaborating with business units to understand their needs and translating them into actionable data insights.
14. Managing end-to-end data analytics processes, including data collection, cleansing, analysis, and visualization.
15. Leading, developing and fostering a positive work culture which is based on SA Health’s values and promoting customer service, learning and development, safety, and welfare of employees, acknowledging differences, and encouraging creativity and innovation.
About you:
As the successful Senior Manager, Oracle and Data Analytics; you will champion the values of being organised, collaborative and driven. You will emphasise taking ownership and managing competing priorities and possess the following:
16. Tertiary qualifications in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.
17. Extensive experience in the delivery of Oracle BI/Oracle Analytical Server (OAS) Reporting projects, as well as experience with BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI), ETL tools and data visualization techniques.
18. Demonstrated history of success in the strategic management of resources, undertaking business analysis, developing strategies to improve performance, and providing concise written executive reports.
19. Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing improvement initiatives, remedial strategies and change specifications to reengineer business processes and systems.
20. Significant experience in managing a range of complex data management projects that have a significant impact on financial operations.

Depending on work requirements the incumbent may be transferred to other locations across SA Health to perform work appropriate to classification, skills and capabilities either on a permanent or temporary basis subject to relevant provisions of the Public Sector Act 2009 for Public Sector employees or the SA Health (Health Care Act) Human Resources Manual for Health Care Act employees.
29. The incumbent may be required to participate in Counter Disaster activities including attendance, as required, at training programs and exercises to develop the necessary skills required to participate in responses in the event of a disaster and/or major incident.
