The role & you.
Your part in our national supply chain process is critical to the quality and reliability of our world class underground mining gear.
You’ll be a relationship driven, technically minded, quality ambassador seeking win/win outcomes. You’ll visit our national suppliers, supporting our operations on the East Coast.
You’ll help us manage our high-quality expectations, working collaboratively with our valuable suppliers, on a risk and business needs basis.
Ensuring outsourced products and services comply with Komatsu OE standards whilst driving the highest level of customer satisfaction is at the core of everything you do.
You’ll be encouraged to offer your ideas and be rewarded for your contributions to the team, and the business, globally.
The daily.
1. Drive safety initiatives in KMC products.
2. Conduct audits of our suppliers and quality tests and assessments in accordance with our Global Quality Standards.
3. Collaborate with global and local internal departments to continuously improve supplier performance.
4. Provide technical advice to suppliers to reduce defects.
5. Investigating supplier defects & perform root cause investigation.
6. Assisting suppliers in the development of corrective and preventative actions.
7. Timely reporting.
Requirements.
8. Relevant tertiary education or training.
9. Ability to travel nationally for work.
10. Experience with quality management systems.
11. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
12. Heavy manufacturing experience.
13. Computer literacy incl SAP (ideal), MS Office.
