Pump Technician - Multi Skilled / Electrical / Mechanical

Main Purpose
To install, maintain, repair and fault find on various pumping equipment including associated systems within industrial, commercial and domestic environments.
Duties & Responsibilities
1. Carry out maintenance, reactive and installation work in line with current standards, ensuring first-class quality of work.
2. Perform full test and inspection of all works, ensuring equipment is fully functional as required.
3. Operate using safe working practices with regard to Health and Safety Regulations, COSHH, Control of Infection, Waste Disposal, etc., in accordance with legislative requirements and policies and procedures of Pump Action.
4. Provide day-to-day communication with line manager and colleagues to ensure workload and works are understood and delivered effectively.
5. Provide technical support and assistance to other Pump Action Limited employees and clients as required.
6. Effectively and timely operate the Pump Action Limited electronic Job card - update and close off process.
7. Participate in the out-of-hours on-call rota.
8. Report all accidents or incidents (near misses) to the line manager as soon as practical.
9. Liaise with clients on site, providing work updates and technical support as required.
10. Liaise with suppliers to source parts and equipment as necessary.
Skills & Knowledge & Person Specification
Qualifications, training & professional membership
1. City & Guilds or similar in Electrical - Mechanical discipline.
2. A minimum of at least 3 years relevant post-apprenticeship experience in (not all essential):
* Booster sets
* Pressurisation units
* Sump sets
* Thermal expansion
* Sewage - drainage stations
* HVAC and associated pumping equipment
* System commissioning
* Grease removal systems
1. A full driving licence.

7. Presentable and able to undertake duties in line with management recommendations, instructions, company policy, and client requirements.
