About the Role The Arts, Heritage and Libraries branch enlivens and enriches the lives of residents and visitors through the provision of library services, creative, cultural and heritage programs.
As the Marketing Lead, you will lead strategic brand, marketing, audience development, ticketing initiatives and delivering tactical event marketing plans and communications solutions for a diverse portfolio of Creative Arts projects and programs, including Horizon Festival and ArtsCoast.
Key duties include: Supervising the Marketing Team and working closely with the Creative Director to design and implement Marketing and Communications strategies. Overseeing brand, ticketing, audience, digital and content strategies to motivate attendance and enhance engagement. Managing the development and implementation of brand, project and event campaigns, timelines, and budgets. Providing leadership and support to the Marketing Team. Developing relationships with key media and marketing partners. Overseeing the development of audience-focused content across multiple channels. Managing the production of branded touchpoints and marketing activities across all mediums. Preparing post-event marketing reports for sponsors and strategic marketing partners. About you You will possess tertiary qualifications in marketing or equivalent experience, with demonstrated experience in marketing for cultural arts events and festivals. Graphic design experience and proficiency in Adobe Illustrator is highly desirable.
Strong project management and organization skills are essential, along with excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
