About the role
Calvary Home Care are seeking an Enrolled Nurse to work on the beautiful Bathurst Island. You will be responsible for along side of our registered Nurse to look after the most vulnerable people in our community through home care packages, our clients range from level 1 to 4.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide clinical/nursing duties as delegated by the Registered Nurse and/or requested by Service Coordinator.
* Work within the professional and legal boundaries pertaining to an Enrolled Nurse.
* Maintain clinical skills by participating in training programs as required, mandatory training such as First Aid, annual CPR and manual handling.
* Liaise with the Registered Nurse, General Practitioner and/or carers re clients’ well-being and report immediately any concerns re clients’ status
What you bring
* AHPRA Registration current
* 1 years Minimum experience of working in community nursing or in residential aged care nursing.
* Full Drivers Licence
* Effective communication, interpersonal and organisational skills
* Initiative and the desire to continually improve client care
* Capability to prioritise tasks and achieve goals within set timeframes
* Candidates with an understanding of the community nursing sector - Home Care Packages, Department of Veteran Affairs and Commonwealth Home Support Program will be considered favourably
* Police Clearance or willingness to obtain one
* NDIS Clearance or willingness to obtain one
* A desire to join a team committed to the care of others in a mission based organisation
