Since its inception in 1973, Family Planning NT (FPWNT) has been a non-profit organisation dedicated to promoting sexual health and rights for all. FPWNT specialises in contraception, pregnancy options including provision of medical abortions, well women’s health screening and general reproductive and sexual health issues.
Supported by the Family Planning Alliance Australia (FPAA), FPWNT provides safe and confidential access to reproductive and sexual health services, education, and information.

What’s the role?
As a passionate and self-motivated individual who understands the importance of enhancing the sexual and reproductive health of the Northern Territory community, you will thrive in this pivotal role. Your key responsibilities will include:
* Assuming the clinical governance role of Medical Director in a supportive environment.
* Managing a team of clinicians while providing supervision and support to GP registrars and medical students.
* Delivering clinical services in alignment with FPWNT clinical guidelines.
* Collaborating with the education team to facilitate theory and practical reproductive and sexual health education programs for NT doctors
What do you need to apply?
* Medical Degree and Specialist Medical Registration with AHPRA
* Fellow of RACGP or ACCRM
* Current GP Supervisor status
* MS2-Step Prescriber (Family Planning is a pro-choice medical abortion provider and provide medical abortion care)
* FPAA certificate or willingness to obtain
* Certification or willingness to obtain Implanon insertion and removal, IUD insertion and removal.
* Valid medical indemnity, CPR certificate, Police records certificate, and NT Ochre card (Working with Children
