Responsibilities include: Managing the delivery of designs for large-scale, simultaneous projects. Overseeing scoping, scheduling, reporting, risk management, quality, cost control, and teamwork. Developing and executing detailed design plans from conception to project closeout. Managing design interfaces across all disciplines and with internal/external resources. Serving as the key point of contact for all project design technical matters. Leading and mentoring Design Delivery Coordinators and collaborating with other Design Managers. What you'll bring: Degree qualification in Engineering or lesser qualification with extensive knowledge and experience in design of high voltage substations, transmission lines, or telecommunications technologies. Demonstrated ability to manage large infrastructure projects, including design support services. Knowledge of Australian and international design standards (AS, IEC, IEEE, etc.).
