Role
This role will require Main reception for 3 days and Neighbourhood assistant for 2 days.
The Main Reception person will ensure that they:
1. Monitor the school phone
2. Greet and support community members that have inquiries
3. Oversee the mail - incoming and outgoing, including the collection of mail from the College Post Office Box
4. Coordinate Compass Cards for all students, staff and visitors to site
5. Support the College Leadership Team when appointments arrive
6. Oversee meeting room bookings in the Administration wing
7. Provide support for the other admin staff when necessary, including HR filing
8. Refer students to Houses for timetables, print out, can't find their class, finding teachers
9. Respond to general enquiries
10. Coordinate the collection of students for when parents are taking from school for early appointments or other commitments
11. Support Finance with banking, EFT & cash payments as required
12. Assist with sickbay when needed
13. Record student information on CASES/Compass as required
14. Place E Schools order
15. General cleaning and stock maintenance for kitchen area in Enterprise Building and Hub
16. Arranging the Bulk ordering of paper supply for the College in conjunction with the Logistics Coordinator
Administrative Roles located at the Neighbourhood Reception Desk for two days can include but are not limited to:
1. Provide administrative support to the AP2 portfolio located in the Neighbourhood eg Senior Secondary
2. Be located at a House Reception Desk
3. Oversee student attendance, late arrivals and daily absence calls
4. Provide support to Data Officer.
5. Provide First-Aid to staff and students and assist the school nurse/First Aid Assistant as required.
6. Responsibility but not accountable for dispensing of medication to students as directed by the School Nurse.
The role will include portfolio items from the Events department:
1. Manage and coordinate invitations and RSVPs for College events
2. Arrange catering for whole College events
3. Provide administration support for the Events Coordinator
4. Under the direction of the Events Coordinator, the Event Assistant will arrange and coordinate key events, including but not limited to the Investiture Assembly, Year 10 Formal, Staff End-of-Year Lunch, Remembrance and ANZAC Day services, and other events as assigned.
Other duties as directed by the Executive Principal

2. Provide high level support to the Executive Assistant and Events Coordinator.
3. Proactively build a positive working relationship with all other ES staff
4. Attend and actively contribute to relevant meetings and events
5. Support and encourage staff to share ideas, strategies and resources
